TETHERED PLATFORM

A higher tethered vantage point.

How the Hexa-T150 brings aircraft, cable and ground power together.

A connected aircraft and ground system

The Hexa-T150 is part of KapYah’s tethered lineup. Its ground system, managed cable and airborne power module work together to support observation from a fixed area. The aircraft is one part of that complete arrangement.

Height selected around the mission

Hexa-T150 operates up to 150 metres above ground on a 160-metre tether, the highest operating vantage point in KapYah’s tethered lineup. Site, weather and operating permissions define where that height can be used.

A defined payload allowance

Hexa-T150 carries a 2 kg mission payload. Select the camera, mount and power system as one integrated configuration.

  • Operating height: 150 m above ground
  • Tether length: 160 m
  • Mission payload: 2 kg

Endurance begins on the ground

Ground power sustains more than 8 hours on station, with generator fuel and operating conditions determining endurance. The onboard battery provides a reserve path if ground power is interrupted.

Plan the deployment

A tethered operation needs space for the ground station, a suitable power source, a cable path and an operator who can monitor both the aircraft and the surrounding area. Those details determine whether a sustained fixed vantage point fits the mission.
